Days, turned into weeks, then months, then years… and dreams of the past of being an author seemed like a fantasy…until I turned 60 and the reality of mortality set in. Married for over 40 years with two sons and a grandson. A passion for history and all things Scottish and Irish with a dose of American and Texas History to really add to the mix. My ancestors fought and bled in most of the wars from the Norman Invasion of England in 1066, through the Jacobite Rebellions, to the Revolutionary War, the War of Texas Independence, the Civil War, WWI, and a Father who fought in WWII. Mr. Anderson has done this, through attention to details that very successfully bring the present into the past. The story progresses to mix very interesting personalities with different times, provisions, places, and events. This is certainly a great start to what will be an engrossing tale. Can't wait until book 2!"
